We had an absolutely wonderful wedding at UMass Amherst. It is SUCH a great venue. First, it is so affordable compared to other beautiful venues in New England. If you’re an alumni, there are even more perks. But you're not sacrificing quality! Seriously, it's a great option. The old chapel is beyond lovely and we loved the Marriott Center (top floor of hotel) but there’s multiple options for spaces depending on spaces depending on size.
Affordable Without Sacrificing Quality! / Henry PWe had our wedding in the old chapel and it was absolutely perfect! The best part of UMASS is that everything you need is right there! Our guests stayed in the campus hotel and parked on the garage and we had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the chapel. Pictures were taken on the beautiful green spaces on campus and we even had the after party in a campus bar! It was perfect and our guests were able to stay in one location.
