I created Barbara's Brides over 28 years ago due to my experinece planning fantastic events for my couples at the hotels I worked for. I wanted more freedom to give my couples the type of service they wanted and I was a natural at providing. With exemplerary customer service, a practical and direct personality, as well as a can do approach to challenges, I found the perfect fit as a wedding planner. I care about the details (big + small). I want you to be happy and carefree on your wedding day knowing I have you covered.

When it comes to LGBTQ+ weddings, I am an even better fit than most planners. Both my adult kids are queer, we are a rainbow family and I want to provide all my couples with peace of mind so they can enjoy the entire day.  There is nothing like seeing the joy my couples have on their wedding days when all the planning has come together.
