Lake O' The Woods Plantation

Lake O' The Woods, an early nineteenth century plantation is located just outside Historic Warrenton, North Carolina. Nestled in 100+ acres of land, many of the original outbuildings and dependencies remain including a typical antebellum kitchen with cook's bedroom, smoke house, a slave cabin, and last but not least, a four-holer privy. 

The main home, registered on the National Register of Historical Places, was built in 1852. The house and its' grounds have gone through extensive restoration and renovation. 

Lake O' The Woods Plantation over the last 180 years has been a favorite place for Davis family gatherings and reunions. Sold in 2002 to David and Trish Peters from London, England.



 An idyllic setting for an elegant"estate style" destination wedding, corporate event, family reunion and film location, the property can accommodate up to 26+ overnight guests in the Manor House and various out buildings.  The Manor House, its’ grounds and pool terrace can easily accommodate either a small intimate gathering or large reception. In addition, there are other areas around the Plantation grounds in which a rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception can take place.
