Lynn Brown of Altoona built Stoney Point Events in 1994, opened in 1995 and still owns it today. The Courtyard and Venue are located at the base of a mountain near a country stream and a large pond. The Courtyard at Stoney Point holds Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail Hour festivitities. The venue is rustic yet boasts all the amenities you would expect - fully air conditioned, round tables and padded high-back chairs, modern bathrooms, ADA compliant, all service Staff, 2 R.A.M.P. Certified Bartenders at our 40' long B.Y.O.B. Bar. Catering is done by Catered Affairs (Stacey German) who is a warm and wonderful person. Move in is on Friday and you get 6 Hours Saturday for a Wedding & Reception. If you only want the Reception, it's a 5 hour party. The DJ booth is brand new in 2018 and it is sensational, especially along with the videos (we are VJ's and Karaoke DJ's as well). A clean, private, fun place you can let your hair down at.
