Chef Ernie & general manager Adrienne created the SG Tiki Farm in 2018 after visiting organic farms in Fiji. We bring you the feel of the South Pacific just a short 40 minute drive from New Orleans or 15 minutes from Waveland - located in Pearlington, MS, on a five acre property surrounding a beutiful bayou. In 2023, we built the Tiki Food Lab & Learning Center, where we conduct flavor research, fermenation experementation, umami-centric recipes, and host private events, cooking classes and farm tours.
Plus, when you book with us, you become part of the creative process!! Chef Ernie will work directly with you to create a custom menu based upon foods you love, with unusual and exotic ingredienits from our farm and other local sources. We can even incorporate a cooking class, farm tour, or fermentation demonstration as part of the event.
Our food is not normal, and we love to host people who don't have normal tastes!!! Be adventerous with us as we guide you down the path of flavor evolution, including pro-biotic fermented ingredienits that are good for your body & mind. We also have our own house band offering south pacific exotica sounds to bring it all

I attended an event at the Tiki Food Lab that blew me away! First, we toured the SG Tiki Farm & learned about how they grow delicious and unusual ingredients in raised mounds. We were amazed at how they compost all scraps from their restaurant, Suis Generis in New Orleans and ferment ingredients to virtually eliminate waste. Then we had an 8 course tasting menu that was the best food I have ever had! This is a truly unique experience!
