Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is a stylish and sophisticated wedding venue located just outside of Washington, D.C, in College Park, Maryland. With a variety of event spaces available, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center has a maximum capacity of up to 500 guests for a seated banquet and 800 standing reception. Each space features its own unique flair, featuring breathtaking details such as marble floors, fireplaces, grand staircases, stained glass, and a finely manicured garden for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The picture-perfect setting outside our nation’s capital will surely make you and your guests’ hearts skip a beat!

As Maryland alums, we couldn't have been happier with Riggs as our reception venue. We worked with Rhonda and Shannon and felt cared for every step of the way. The space is large and versatile with indoor and outdoor spots. We used the atrium, patio, and garden for cocktail hour and then moved to the ballroom for dinner and dancing. With COVID, we were able to spread out nicely, and still have an intimate feel.

/ KSamuel Riggs Alumni Center was such an outstanding picturesque space. Rhonda and Brittany were so amazing, patient and warm. This was Brittany's first wedding and she made sure that whatever we needed was provided. We could not tell that this was her first time taking the lead. Her warm and welcoming demeanor during the whole process of planning and day of was incredible. We couldn't ask for anything more.
