Finding the love of your life can be hard. Finding an officiant for your wedding should be easy! To my fiancé and I, choosing the right wedding officiant was a very important decision. We saw what happened to our friends who didn’t choose their officiant carefully. There was the wedding that didn’t happen because the officiant never showed. Then there was the wedding that ended in tears because the officiant never considered anyone’s feelings but their own when they preached bigotry instead of love. We didn’t want that to happen to us. He quickly put together the first draft of his speech and was happy to incorporate our favorite quotes and readings into his work. Ashton was flexible and a great collaborator. He got along famously with our wedding planners and together they were able to execute our vision for a perfect wedding. Ashton organized our rehearsal and coached us through everything from our processional to our vows. His experience and confidence reassured even the most nervous participant and he treated everyone with equal respect. During our wedding ceremony, Ashton made everything seem effortless and natural. He greeted our guests, led our wedding ceremony with grace, and to all the world he spoke like our oldest friend who had known us for years. When we signed our marriage license Ashton was just as ecstatic as we were, and he truly felt like part of our family. We couldn’t have possibly been in better hands. Ashton is the absolute best.
