Such a great instructor!!We were very pleased with Emily's teaching and highly recommend her. Learning a wedding dance can certainly be a stressful process, and we found Emily to be very patient, relaxed and positive. Plus, she taught us the dance! Emily taught us how to do a Rumba variation for the song we chose. It turned out that the song was not so easy to choreograph, but Emily persisted and created a beautiful dance for us which included some of our own ideas. She was very good at paying attention to our pace and adjusting her teaching to what we were able to learn in each lesson. Emily was also able to break down the dance, and each week she taught us a new part until we were ready to put it all together. And, finally, we had fun dancing at our reception!!Review response
Dear Karen and Gretchen, I have fond memories of our lessons together. You two really worked well together to learn your dance and the radiant smiles in your photo show how much fun you had!

Emily was so helpful! We had won a free dance lesson with another company at a wedding expo, but somehow mixed up companies and thought it was Emily Foxtrot. When we emailed her and sorted it out, she offered us a free lesson! We took up the offer, and attended a class with her. She worked with our crazy schedule, and our huge expectations, and my two left feet :) she's a great tacher, it was very easy to learn from her. We came all the way from Vermont for the lesson, and it was well worth it. We were nervous at the wedding expo, being that there's no groom in our wedding. We did get quite a few confused people, and people who didnt know how to tackle double brided wedding accommodations, but Emily was on topen of it, and never once called my fiancée a groom (yes that happens a lot). We felt very comfortable in her class. She also runs a LGBT Salsa class which sounds pretty cool :)Review response
I was thrilled to see the two of you at the bridal expo, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the lesson. I hope your dance goes really well!
