The mountains of Western North Carolina offer the perfect backdrop to any wedding or commitment ceremony.  Despite the fact that the state of North Carolina passed Amendment One in May of 2012 barring recognition of same-sex unions the city of Asheville and many outlying areas in the mountains of Western North Carolina remain a welcoming place for LGBT couples.
